JORDAN VOGEL

To be honest I’m just your average suburban kid, at least at first glance. I grew up in a very tech/business savvy household with my mom graduating from MIT and my dad from Harvard. So you can imagine how hard it was for me to tell them music is my true passion. My first real job in the industry was with a local music festival company. I was brought on as a campus ambassador, aka a poster boy, but quickly became friends with the owner and ended up landing a full time job. At the end of it all, I found myself onstage behind A-Trak and had the “oh shit” moment where I realized this is what I truly love. I then rode that high and searched endlessly for opportunities, finally landing myself an internship at a management company in LA by the name of FACTION. From there SHGOOD was born, an idea in my head for while now, but being just a college kid still in and out of internships I wasn't sure where to begin. Finally a few months ago I was able to answer that question and it’s been one hell of a journey ever since...

From a very young age, music was always instilled in me like a metronome to the production of a beat. Starting off with piano, the greed did not stop with drums, guitar, ukelele, and finally the cello. Though it was tough, taking part in summer camps, music festivals, ensembles, and competitions has shaped me into who I am today and I can never be more grateful. Music has taken me all over the world from Spain, South Korea, Argentina, and many more, meeting individuals with the same fulfillment. It has been a blessing to perform in venues such as Carnegie Hall. Every so often when collaborating with good friends, I would ask the question," What's Shgood?", almost like a ," What are you going to do next? Another track? Another album? Another show? It then became known to Jordan and I that the future holds so much for far too many under represented artists whether they are musicians, photographers, videographers, or designers. When one SHGOOD artists rises, the SGHOOD Family rises with them.
