How old were you when you started playing music?
I played piano a bit growing up, primarily self taught but nothing crazy. What really got me into music was when I first started playing guitar when I was 17 and had just gotten to boarding school in Montana. I used songs to get to know chords but immediately after that I started writing my own songs. My environment and the way that I felt about my life and the world inspired me to express through my songs. I was making the classic singer/ songwriter and a bit of blues. That's all I could do at that point in time.
How old you are now/what you're currently doing besides music?
Right now, I’m 21 and continue to write singer / songwriter but I've moved into some future bassy production and modern pop production.
